Geschichte

Das Ende der Vironauten-Ära kam im Jahre 447 NGZ durch die Deflagration des von den Kartanin im Tarkanium gelagerten Parataus. Als Reaktion auf dieses Ereignis begann das Kosmonukleotid DORIFER damit, die Psi-Konstante wieder auf ihren ursprünglichen Wert herabzusetzen, wodurch das Psionische Netz als Antriebsquelle der Virenschiffe zusammenbrach. Die meisten ehemaligen Vironauten schafften gerade noch die Rückkehr zur Milchstraße – andere blieben verschollen. Wie viele sich auf fremden Planeten angesiedelt hatten, ist nicht bekannt.
